Postgrad Lettings
LUSU understand that Postgraduate housing needs often differ from those of the average undergraduate. LUSU Housing therefore offer a tailored service reflecting these needs and reserve a selection of 1/2 & 3 bed houses and flats, ideal for postgrad's and their families, while also reserve a number of postgraduate only houses for those students wanting to secure a room in a shared house.For more information email our postgraduate registration form to lusu.housing@lancs.ac.uk
Rents
Rents vary but a postgraduate renting a room in a shared house can expect to pay between £50.00 per week (excluding bills) to £65.00 per week where a utility package is included.
Our 1 & 2 bed self contained properties cost around £110.00 per week rising to £135.00 for a larger 3 bedroomed family house.
We offer a standard 50 week lease to reflect postgraduate periods of study (with extensions available for those studying for more than one year)
LUSU offer a variety of payment methods and are happy to accept monthly or termly payment schedules.
While LUSU do not charge a deposit we do require a payment equivalent to 1 months rent in advance when the lease is returned - these monies are then deducted from the tenants rent account.
